L5 Operations / Department Manager

• The course can come with a FREE:IOSH Managing Safety — Integer Training would like to offer that for every manager that enrols on this apprenticeship we will offer to put them through IOSH either via the 3 days classroom package or online learning

• Age 16+ • Contract of employment — preferably 30+ hours a week
• Willing to fully commit for at least 24 months
• Functional skills in Maths and English at level 2 or GCSE Grade C and above

Taught Sessions – Recommended taught session every 2 months:

• Session 1: Operational management • Session 6: Building Relationships
• Session 2: Project Management Session 7: Communication
• Session 3: Finance Session 8: Self-Awareness
• Session 4: Leading People Session 9: Management of Self
• Session 5: Managing People Session 10: Decision making

On completion of each training day the Manager will complete the Highfield e-portfolio module to enhance their understanding of the subject. This will all be stored in a file on One-drive

This will account for the 20% of the off the job training requirements and this training time will take place during the Managers working hours and evidenced via a contact log and session registers.

Apprentices will need assessing at least once every 2 months to evidence competence of these elements and confirm the apprentice is ready for EPA.

As a levy paying employer you will have been paying 0.5% of the wage bill into a digital account since April 2017

On completion of this qualification you can register to become full members of the CMI ( Chartered Management Institute) or ILM (The Institute of Leadership and Management)
